Lee started Millenium Site Services in 2000. After working in the painting industry for several years, he noticed there was a need for onsite painting and repair services. This vision along with his family’s support and a tiny office in Kilburn, Derbyshire would form the basis for one of the East Midlands biggest site services suppliers.
Millenium started with onsite painting needs. From there we expanded to include in-house painting and shot blasting. This prompted a move to larger premises where we eventually settled into a small unit on Nightingale Business Park. Millenium’s success and high standards led to an inundation of requests and we soon realised we needed more room to grow. After a few years, we then moved to to Riverside Park along with a second unit on Sandown Road where we continued to grow over the next 10 years, and then decided to take the plunge and buy the premises at Haydock Park Road, which has enabled us to put everything under one roof, where we complete a wide range of services including component and vehicle repairs, painting, spraying, coating and finishing.
All of our contracts are bespoke as we can tailor equipment to fit the client’s needs. We have everything from dedicated paint and blast booths to trusted suppliers, overhead cranes and hi-tech mobile units capable of completing a host of services. What’s more, our onsite services operate 24/7 meaning your vehicles are repaired without the need for transport or movement off-rail. This reduction in cost and downtime has led us to work with some of the transport industry’s biggest names including; Bombardier, East Midlands Trains, Rolls-Royce, GWR and Serco.
